Health, life and martial arts according to the “principle of highest harmony”
Taijiquan at iTanum with Thomas Richter
The traditional Chinese health, life, martial and movement arts are also enjoying increasing popularity in this country. The teacher for Tai Chi, Taiji, Taijiquan, internal martial arts, Wu Shu, meditation and Qi Gong, Thomas Richter, has been teaching in the Dresden, Pirna, Saxon Switzerland and national regions since 2005.
In ancient China, Taijiquan (pronounced: “Tai-ji-chuen”) was developed and practiced as an “internal martial art of the highest principle” in order to be able to restore the balance of one’s own life force and thus enable people to live a long, healthy life.
We at iTanum also want to maintain our life energies and maintain our physical and mental integrity through regular exercises. For a balance to everyday office life, Thomas Richter introduces us to the beneficial effects of Taijiquan and the internal arts of China with bi-weekly beginner courses. We learn the basics, train a better posture, pay attention to correct body tension and practice mental concentration and meditation.
Is Taijiquan something for you too? In addition to weekly appointments and private lessons, Thomas Richter also offers day and weekend seminars. Find out more at:
